India, Dec. 11 -- Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd has announced that it has received a Letter of Empanelment from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 16,025 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems across Maharashtra. The project falls under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B Scheme.
The contract covers DC solar pumps of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP, with a total project value of ?443.78 crore (inclusive of GST). The work order value before taxes stands at ?407.51 crore.
