India, Oct. 17 -- Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has announced an investment of Rs 25 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited (SESL), to establish a greenfield solar manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The new plant will produce high-efficiency solar DCR cells and solar PV modules with a total capacity of 2.2 gigawatts (GW).

Incorporated in September 2010, SESL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shakti Pumps and currently manufactures solar structures and solar rooftop systems. The company reported a turnover of ?216.53 crore in FY25, up from ?139.59 crore in FY24 and ?99.15 crore in FY23, reflecting steady growth in its operations.
