India, Dec. 29 -- SEPC Limited has secured a Rs 230 crore turnkey mining infrastructure order from MOIL Limited, a Government of India undertaking, for the design, construction and commissioning of a third vertical shaft at the Chikla Mine in Maharashtra.
The project was awarded through a global tender process, with SEPC emerging as the lowest bidder. The total order value comprises Rs 167.85 crore for the domestic scope and USD 36.52 lakh for imported plant and machinery.
The scope of work includes complete turnkey execution, covering engineering, civil construction, furnishing, and installation of equipment. The project is expected to significantly enhance mining infrastructure and operational efficiency at the Chikla Mine.
