India, Nov. 11 -- Sembcorp Green Infra, the renewable energy arm of Singapore-based Sembcorp Industries, has bagged a 150 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project from state-owned SJVN.
The project will integrate solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to ensure reliable power supply during peak demand periods.
Awarded under SJVN's 1,500 MW / 6,000 MWh FDRE tender for assured peak power from Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected renewable projects, the build-own-operate project aims to strengthen grid reliability and support India's clean energy goals, Sembcorp said in a statement on Tuesday.
