India, Sept. 24 -- Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited (SDHI), India's largest shipbuilding and heavy fabrication company, has signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with European offshore oil and gas vessel leader Royal IHC, in partnership with Alar Infrastructure, Royal IHC's Indian representative. The collaboration will focus on designing, building, and retrofitting offshore oil and gas vessels, as well as other specialized ships.
Under the agreement, the partners will explore opportunities to construct Offshore Construction Vessels, Pipe Laying Vessels, and Multi-Purpose Offshore Support Vessels at SDHI's state-of-the-art shipyard in Pipavav Port, Gujarat. The partnership supports the Government of India's Make in ...
