India, Aug. 14 -- State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest lender, will revise its Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) charges effective August 15.
As per the bank's website, there will be no change in fees for IMPS transactions conducted through branches. However, online fund transfers exceeding Rs 25,000 will attract nominal charges from the same date.
For such online transactions, the fees will range between Rs 2 and Rs 10, plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).
