India, Sept. 17 -- Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) held its 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday at Chinmaya Mission, New Delhi. Addressing shareholders virtually, Chairman and Managing Director Shri Amarendu Prakash highlighted the company's resilient performance amid global headwinds and outlined its strategic roadmap for future growth.
Prakash said SAIL remains a key partner in India's development journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047, supplying steel to critical sectors including infrastructure, railways, defence and energy. Guided by the National Steel Policy 2017, the company plans to integrate green technologies, efficient logistics and customer-centric solutions into upcoming projects, he added.
