India, May 2 -- Royal Enfield recorded a 6% year-on-year sales increase in April, with total sales reaching 86,559 units. While domestic sales saw a slight 1% uptick—rising from 75,038 to 76,002 units—the export segment drove overall growth with a remarkable 55% surge, totaling 10,557 units.

This strong performance builds on the momentum from a milestone year in which the company surpassed one million unit sales. B. Govindarajan, Managing Director and CEO, expressed confidence in the brand's trajectory, noting that Royal Enfield has started the year on a high note and continues to strengthen its footprint in both domestic and global markets.
