India, April 25 -- State-owned railway infrastructure firm RITES Ltd. announced on Thursday that it has received a work order worth Rs 28 crore from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL).
The order is for providing detailed engineering and project management consultancy services for the rail connectivity project linked to the proposed Phase-II SILO at MCL's Lakhanpur Area, as per the company's filing with the stock exchange.
Earlier this month, RITES had also received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 28 crore from South Central Railway. This order involves conducting final location surveys for high-speed elevated rail corridors on the Hyderabad–Bengaluru and Hyderabad–Chennai routes.
