India, Dec. 16 -- Decarbonisation solutions provider ReNew Energy Global Plc on Tuesday announced a partnership with technology major Google for the development of a 150-megawatt (MW) solar power project in Rajasthan.

Under the agreement, Google will procure the project's energy attributes, including carbon credits, from ReNew, the company said in a statement. ReNew added that the long-term procurement arrangement will enhance the bankability of the project and support Google's efforts to reduce emissions across its value chain.
