India, Dec. 2 -- Reliance Industries has completed the merger of its subsidiary, Star Television Productions Ltd (STPL), with Jiostar, as confirmed in recent regulatory filings.
The company had earlier, on November 14, 2024, disclosed the proposed scheme of arrangement for merging STPL with Star India—now renamed Jiostar India—another subsidiary under the Reliance umbrella.
In an update dated November 30, 2025, Jiostar informed Reliance that the merger scheme has officially come into effect. With this, STPL now stands fully merged with Jiostar, the company stated in its regulatory submission.
