India, Nov. 21 -- The Reserve Bank of India has withdrawn the regulatory directions imposed on National Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd., Lucknow, under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The directions, first issued on March 9, 2023, and extended periodically, were last in force until December 10, 2025.

After reviewing the bank's financial position, the RBI said it is satisfied that withdrawal of the restrictions is in the public interest. The directions stand withdrawn with effect from the close of business on November 21, 2025.
