India, March 11 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced on Tuesday that it will soon issue ?100 and Rs 200 banknotes featuring the signature of Governor Sanjay Malhotra.
According to an official statement, these new notes will retain the existing design of the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series.
The RBI also confirmed that all previously issued ?100 and ?200 banknotes will remain legal tender.
