RBI Clears Merger of Amarnath Co-operative Bank with Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank

India, Dec. 12 -- The Reserve Bank of India has approved the voluntary amalgamation of Amarnath Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ahmedabad with The Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ahmedabad, under Section 44A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

The merger will take effect from December 15, 2025, after which all branches of Amarnath Co-operative Bank will operate as branches of Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank.
