India, Jan. 5 -- Rajesh Power Services on Monday said it has secured a battery energy storage project from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The project involves development of a 65 MW/130 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Virpore in Gujarat, the company said in an exchange filing.
A 65 MW/130 MWh energy storage system indicates that 65 MW of battery capacity can supply power for two hours, translating into a total energy output of 130 MWh.
