India, Aug. 5 -- RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd for the implementation of the Mukhyamantree Surakshit Sushaasit Shahar (Safe City) Project, valued at Rs 216.82 crore (inclusive of taxes).
In a regulatory filing dated August 4, 2025, the company informed that the project is a domestic contract aimed at enhancing urban safety and governance infrastructure in Bihar.
The contract is to be executed by August 30, 2025. RailTel confirmed that neither its promoter group nor related parties have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not fall under related party dealings.
