India, April 17 -- Prestige Estates Projects Ltd reported a 48% surge in sales bookings to nearly Rs 7,000 crore for the January–March quarter. However, its total pre-sales for FY25 declined 19% year-on-year to over Rs 17,000 crore.
The company attributed the annual drop in sales bookings to a slowdown in new housing project launches, primarily due to delays in obtaining approvals from development authorities. As a result, Prestige Estates fell short of its annual sales bookings target of Rs 24,000 crore.
