India, May 6 -- Patel Engineering Limited (PEL) has been awarded a significant contract worth ?1,318.89 crore by the City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) for the construction of the Kondhane Dam and associated works using advanced Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) technology.
Earlier declared as the L1 (lowest bidder) for the project, PEL will undertake this infrastructure initiative in Village Kondhane, Taluka Karjat, District Raigad, Maharashtra. The project is expected to be completed over a span of 42 months.
