India, March 11 -- In a significant push towards sustainable energy and India's Net Zero goals, NTPC Limited and its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) signed multiple agreements worth ?96,000 crore with the Government of Chhattisgarh at the Chhattisgarh Energy Investors Summit 2025 in Raipur. The agreements cover nuclear, pumped hydro, and renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid sources.
Nuclear Power Expansion: NTPC signed an MoU with the Chhattisgarh government to establish a 4,200 MW nuclear power plant in the state, with an estimated investment of Rs 80,000 crore.
