India, June 6 -- Power major NTPC announced on Friday that its total installed generation capacity across the group has reached 80,265 MW, following the commencement of commercial operations of 110.25 MW from the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project.
In a regulatory filing, the company stated that NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, successfully commissioned the first phase of the project. The 110.25 MW capacity was declared commercially operational from 00:00 hours on June 6, 2025.
NTPC Green Energy Ltd. is a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., spearheading the company's renewable energy initiatives.
