India, Dec. 26 -- National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management Kundli (NIFTEM-K) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Minority Affairs to implement the PM VIKAS scheme. The MoU was signed on December 22, 2025, in New Delhi, under which NIFTEM-K has been selected as a Project Implementing Agency (PIA).
The scheme aims to strengthen the capacity of youth from minority communities by offering need-based skill training and facilitating employment and livelihood opportunities. NIFTEM-K is among the select Institutes of National Importance (INI) chosen to implement the programme.
