India, June 2 -- Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the country's largest carmaker, reported total sales of 180,077 units in May 2025, registering a notable year-on-year growth. This includes domestic sales of 138,690 units, sales to other OEMs of 10,168 units, and export sales of 31,219 units.

A key highlight for the month was the strong performance in exports, which rose significantly to 31,219 units in May 2025, up from 17,367 units in May 2024—reflecting robust international demand for Maruti's models.
