India, March 2 -- Mahindra & Mahindra on Monday announced its decision to exit its agricultural machinery operations in Japan as part of a portfolio rationalisation exercise following a strategic assessment.
The board of Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery Co Ltd (MAM), which operates in Japan, has approved the withdrawal from the agri-machinery business, the Mumbai-based company said in a regulatory filing.
However, MAM will continue operations related to spare parts supply and product warranty services for existing customers, the company added.
