India, May 30 -- Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has partnered with Dolby Laboratories to bring Dolby Atmos audio technology to the Thar ROXX AX7L variant, the company announced on Friday.
This collaboration marks a global first in the SUV segment, featuring a 4-channel immersive audio experience powered by Dolby Atmos, integrated into a premium 9-speaker Harman Kardon branded sound system.
"With the Thar ROXX becoming the world's first vehicle to offer Dolby Atmos with a 4-channel immersive setup, we're setting a new benchmark in in-car audio experiences," said Velusamy R, President – Automotive Technology & Product Development at M&M.
