India, April 24 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has forayed into the B2B industrial electronics space with the commencement of manufacturing operations at its Coimbatore campus in Tamil Nadu.
The new vertical, named L&T Electronic Products & Systems (LTEPS), will be headquartered in Bengaluru, with production based in Coimbatore. Initially, the company has commissioned two manufacturing lines to provide electronics manufacturing services to both domestic and global clients.
Commenting on the development, Chairman & Managing Director S N Subrahmanyan said the move aligns with L&T's Lakshya 2031 vision of strengthening technology leadership and enhancing India's self-reliance in critical manufacturing sectors.
