India, Jan. 14 -- The Heavy Civil Infrastructure business of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a large order from Torrent Energy Storage Solutions for the construction of India's largest pumped storage project, the Saidongar-1 Pumped Storage Project, with a total capacity of 3,000 MW, located in Raigad, Maharashtra.
The project will comprise ten units of 300 MW each. Under the contract, L&T will be responsible for the design, engineering, and execution of all civil and hydro-mechanical works associated with the project.
