India, March 19 -- KPI Green Energy has announced that it has received final approval from the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) for credit facilities amounting to Rs. 272 Crore. The financial assistance will partially fund the development of a 50MW hybrid power project in Bharuch, Gujarat, comprising 75.2MWp solar capacity and 16.95MW wind capacity.

The project will operate under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. This funding marks a significant milestone in the company's mission to expand its renewable energy portfolio and contribute to India's clean energy goals.
