India, Aug. 22 -- Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd (KMEW) has secured a new work order from Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (DCI) for "Grab Dredging at different locations in the Port Dock Areas of Paradip Port." The contract, valued at Rs 7.25 crore including taxes, will be executed over four months, excluding the monsoon period.
The scope covers dredging 64,358 cubic meters, with a permissible variation of up to 20%. KMEW will deploy its existing vessel River Pearl 2 (Grab Hopper Dredger) for the project, which is set to begin immediately.
