India, Sept. 9 -- Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, on Tuesday launched the UPI–UPU Integration project at the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai. The initiative, developed by the Department of Posts (DoP), NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL), and the Universal Postal Union (UPU), aims to revolutionise cross-border remittances by combining India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) with the UPU Interconnection Platform.
