India, Nov. 10 -- JSW Steel announced that its consolidated crude steel production for October 2025 stood at 24.95 lakh tonnes, reflecting a 9% year-on-year (YoY) increase from 22.81 lakh tonnes in October 2024.

The Indian operations contributed 24.12 lakh tonnes, up 10% YoY, while JSW Steel USA – Ohio produced 0.83 lakh tonnes during the month.

The company reported capacity utilisation at 83% for its Indian operations, lower than usual due to the shutdown of Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar for capacity upgradation from 3.0 MTPA to 4.5 MTPA. Excluding BF3, capacity utilisation stood at approximately 92% in October 2025.

The BF3 is expected to resume production in February 2026.
