India, Jan. 9 -- JSW Steel on Friday reported consolidated crude steel production of 7.48 million tonnes (MT) for the third quarter of FY26, marking a 6% year-on-year increase.
Production at Indian operations was impacted during the quarter due to the shutdown of Blast Furnace-3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar, which has been under upgradation since the end of September 2025 and is expected to be commissioned by the end of Q4 FY26. As a result, capacity utilisation at Indian operations stood at around 93% excluding BF3 capacity and 85% including BF3 capacity during Q3 FY26.
For the quarter, Indian operations produced 7.28 MT of crude steel, while JSW Steel USA's Ohio facility contributed 0.20 MT, including trial-run production.
