India, Aug. 4 -- JSW Steel Limited, in collaboration with its Japanese partner JFE Steel Corporation, has announced a major expansion of grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) manufacturing capacity in India through their joint ventures—JSW JFE Electrical Steel Private Limited in Vijayanagar, Karnataka, and JSW JFE Electrical Steel Nashik Private Limited in Maharashtra. The two companies will jointly invest approximately Rs 5,845 crore in this capacity expansion.
