India, July 25 -- JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has signed its first Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The agreement, part of the SECI–FDRE Tranche IV scheme, is for the supply of 230 MW of ISTS-connected renewable energy, with a 25-year tenure at a tariff of Rs 4.98 per kWh.
With this PPA, JSW Energy's under-construction capacity reaches 12.9 GW, while its total locked-in generation capacity now stands at 30.2 GW. The company remains firmly on track to achieve its strategic targets of 30 GW of installed generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030.
