India, July 24 -- JSW Renew Energy Forty Five Limited, a step-down subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) for a 100MW grid-connected solar project integrated with a 100MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
The project will be developed at a designated site and connected to the 220/400 kV KPTCL Firozabad substation located in Kalaburagi district. The PPA has been signed for a duration of 25 years at a fixed tariff of Rs 4.31 per kWh.
With this addition, JSW Energy's total committed energy storage capacity has reached 29.4 GWh, comprising 3.0 GWh from BESS and 26.4 GWh from Pumped Hydro Storage. The company remains on track to achieve its ene...
