India, June 6 -- JSW Energy Limited has successfully commissioned 281 MW of organic renewable energy capacity, comprising 215 MW of solar and 66 MW of wind projects. With this addition, the company's total installed capacity has risen to 12,499 MW. The timely commissioning positions the company to benefit from the current peak wind season, significantly enhancing its renewable energy output.
Following the latest addition, JSW Energy's installed renewable mix now includes 3,482 MW of wind, 1,968 MW of solar, and 1,391 MW of hydro capacity. This brings the share of renewables in the company's overall portfolio to 55%.
