India, Oct. 8 -- JSW Cement, part of the diversified US$23 billion JSW Group, has expanded its footprint in eastern India with the commissioning of a new, state-of-the-art cement grinding unit at Sambalpur, Odisha, through its subsidiary Shiva Cement.
This new facility, established under a commercial arrangement with Bhushan Power and Steel Limited (BPSL), has a production capacity of 1.0 MTPA, dedicated exclusively for Shiva Cement's use. With this addition, JSW Cement's total installed capacity, including its subsidiaries, has risen to 21.6 MTPA.
