India, March 23 -- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will commemorate World TB Day 2026 with a national-level event on March 24 at Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will preside over the event.
The programme will highlight India's accelerated efforts towards eliminating tuberculosis (TB), aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a TB-Mukt Bharat. It will showcase key achievements, innovative approaches, and enhanced community participation under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP).
