India, May 23 -- Shares of consumer goods major ITC Ltd surged nearly 3% on Friday following the company's announcement of a 2% increase in its net profit for the March quarter.
On the BSE, the stock gained 2.81% to reach Rs 438.10, while on the NSE, it advanced 2.83% to Rs 438.20.
