India, March 16 -- Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change has submitted India's Seventh National Report (NR-7) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, reaffirming the country's commitment to biodiversity conservation, sustainable use, and equitable sharing of genetic resources.
The report, submitted on February 26, 2026, ahead of the February 28 deadline, provides an indicator-based assessment aligned with India's National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (2024-2030) and the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
