India, Dec. 1 -- India's power consumption dipped slightly to 123.4 billion units (BU) in November, down 0.31% from 123.79 BU recorded a year earlier, mainly due to reduced use of cooling appliances.
Government data shows that power demand had already softened in October, falling 5.8% YoY to 131.07 BU. In contrast, consumption rose in September to 145.66 BU, compared with 140.61 BU in the same month last year.
