India, Dec. 1 -- India's manufacturing activity moderated to a nine-month low in November, as growth in sales and production softened amid challenging market conditions, according to a monthly survey.
The seasonally adjusted HSBC India Manufacturing PMI fell to 56.6 in November, down from 59.2 in October, marking the slowest improvement in operating conditions since February.
In PMI terms, a reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a figure below 50 signals contraction.
