India, Dec. 26 -- India's foreign exchange reserves increased by USD 4.368 billion to USD 693.318 billion in the week ended December 19, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday.
In the previous week, the country's forex reserves had risen by USD 1.689 billion to USD 688.949 billion.
During the latest reporting week, foreign currency assets (FCAs)—the largest component of the reserves—rose by USD 1.641 billion to USD 559.428 billion, the central bank data showed.
