India, Sept. 8 -- India's unemployment rate stands at 2%, the lowest among G20 nations, according to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said on Monday.

Speaking at an MoU signing ceremony in New Delhi between the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Mentor Together, and Quikr, the Minister highlighted that India's rapid economic growth and enabling government schemes have driven employment creation across sectors.

He noted that the National Career Service (NCS) portal has mobilized over 7.22 crore vacancies to date, with 44 lakh currently active, supported by partnerships with major employers such as Amazon and Swiggy. The new MoUs aim...
