India, Oct. 29 -- India and Nepal have taken a major step forward in strengthening their energy cooperation as Nepal's Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, H.E. Kulman Ghising, met Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, in New Delhi today. The meeting focused on expanding collaboration in the power sector, particularly in hydropower development and cross-border electricity trade.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the progress of ongoing hydropower projects in Nepal and regional grid connectivity initiatives aimed at boosting energy security and facilitating clean energy integration across borders.
