India, Dec. 17 -- India and Oman are set to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on Thursday in Muscat, aimed at strengthening bilateral economic relations and opening up opportunities for sectors such as textiles, food processing, automobiles, auto components, and gems and jewellery.

The agreement will be signed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a four-day, three-nation visit. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has already reached Muscat for the signing ceremony.
