India, Nov. 14 -- Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) on Friday announced that it has signed agreements to acquire a 51% controlling stake in Sparsh Infratech, the parent company of luxury wellness brand Atmantan, for around ?240 crore.
IHCL Managing Director and CEO Puneet Chhatwal said the transaction, funded through internal accruals, aligns with the company's strategy to expand its presence in the integrated wellness segment across key global destinations. The partnership brings together IHCL's hospitality expertise and the proprietary wellness programmes developed by Atmantan founders Sharmilee and Nikhil Kapur.
The acquisition includes ownership of the Atmantan brand and its 97-key luxury wellness retreat located in Mulshi near Pune. T...
