India, May 29 -- As part of its strategic growth plan to accelerate its presence in India, Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Mr. N Venu as its new Managing Director, effective June 2, 2025. Mr. Venu will take on this role in addition to his current responsibilities as Managing Director & CEO of Hitachi Energy India Limited and Region Head for South Asia at Hitachi Energy.
This appointment follows the elevation of Dr. Bharat Kaushal, the first Indian Managing Director of Hitachi, to the position of Executive Chairman, Hitachi India, effective April 1, 2025.
