India, Nov. 6 -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd has retained its World No. 1 ranking in the Metals & Mining sector of the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2025, marking its third consecutive year at the top. The company secured an industry-leading score of 90/100, its highest in the past five years, outperforming 235 global companies.
The S&P Global CSA is one of the world's most reputed ESG benchmarking systems, evaluating companies on environmental, social, and governance performance. Hindustan Zinc improved its score from 86 in 2024 to 90 in 2025, earning top ranks in areas such as climate strategy, community relations, and waste and pollution management.
