India, Aug. 6 -- Hindustan Power has entered into a power purchase agreement with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) to develop a 435 MW direct current (DC) solar power project in the state.
According to the company's statement, the project will supply clean energy to UPPCL for a period of 25 years.
This initiative aligns with the Uttar Pradesh government's goal of achieving 22,000 MW of clean energy capacity by FY27.
