India, July 16 -- HDFC Bank announced on Wednesday that its board will meet on July 19 to deliberate on a proposal for issuing bonus shares and declaring a special interim dividend.
Following the announcement, the bank's shares rose by 1.33%, reaching an intraday high of Rs 2,021.90 during early trade on the BSE.
Previously, on June 23, the bank had informed that the July 19 board meeting would also review and approve the financial results for the April–June quarter of the current fiscal year.
